MIMMO COLLECTION
My goal is to facilitate an ongoing commitment to enhance the apparel industry by offering my services and expertise in custom made tailoring. I have over 50 years experience in the apparel industry, 16 years in custom-made and 40 years in production. My expertise includes management, quality control, pattern making and shipping, and I am very competent at training and troubleshooting complications as they arise. I grew up in the family business where quality and an excellent finished product in both men’s and women’s garment making was the standard. I opened a school based on my own designs and published an instruction book on pattern making called “Alta Moda Femminile and Maschile” in Panni-Foggia, Italy. I was responsible for teaching the students the art of pattern making for five years. I then came to the United States to further my career. I strive on being the best that I can be, that is an everyday goal in my life.

One Final Note: My personal experience in manufacturing is long and never ending. Even though I have a vast array of knowledge in this industry I know it is never ending and I’m always learning new things. I have always cooperated with my fellow workers to better understand and make the best possible quality garments in the production field. I believe in the discipline system of factory making garments. My experience in Garment Technology is very high yet I’m always friendly towards my fellow workers and associates. Even though I never mix my business persona with my personal one I remain focused on the business at hand and after work we can go out for dinner, smile and say wow, what a garment that we just made.
Thank You,
Best Regards,
Domenico Zelano
